attainment but also develops students' social and relationship skills that remain lifetime
In our society children are increasingly encouraged through advertising to think of happiness
as something which can be found simply in the material world; they are generally
encouraged to experience life in a world which is external to their inner selves.
Beyond Learning inspires & motivates these children to find inner happiness by equipping
them with social and relationship skills, intelligences and attitudes to help shape capable
empowered individuals for tomorrow.
Our Curriculum
The curriculum here is designed to harness our children and enable them to improve their
communication skills and receive an overview of core values. These values support the
development of the whole child as a reflective learner within a calm, caring, happy and
purposeful atmosphere.
It includes lessons, activities and assemblies that support the learning about core values of
life. The learning methodology contains explicit & implicit element:
- Explicit refers to the planned experiential activities that help them understand the
meaning of the values and the significant role they play into our lives.
- Implicit element refers to, for instance, the way that teachers use the values
vocabulary to reinforce learning e.g. "Well done Ajay for showing so much
cooperation when you worked together".
We help children venture into realms of humanity, civility and morality through an
unprecedented route of shared experience and feelings.
While stories & videos remain to be our usual pedagogy, we will also use innovative
techniques like value lessons via role plays and individual student attention.
